My Car
I always wanted a V8 Holden but it wasnt until i returned from living in the UK that i found myself in a position to be able to buy what i wanted.
From the moment i bought the VT Exec in 2001 the intention was always to improve on what Holden had already created. While i originally saw myself driving an SS or maybe an HSV i really wanted to make my own “special vehicle” so I intentionally bought an Executive giving me a blank canvas on which to start my mods.
The colour (tungsten) was not a love at first sight affair - it wasnt until i went back to the Holden dealership the following weekend that both myself and my wife thought “its actually quite nice” and its not a common colour which would help make my car that much more special i guess.
So with the car purchased the mind began ticking over…..let the mods begin……
